Two authors meet in the street.
One says: “I’m writing a novel.”
The other one says: “Neither am I.”
The other one says: “Neither am I.”
It does sum beautifully up the
capacity of writers to do anything but write – walk the dog, make a cup of
coffee, stare out of the window. So how do you
make yourself knuckle down to work?
